Discover the Benefits of Planned Giving

If you had a loved one or friend as a resident at the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, it's hard to imagine what your life would have been like without the expertise, training and compassion of the staff -- from certified nursing assistants to the chef in the kitchen.

Many people show their gratitude with financial support of the Center and to ensure that other families living with Alzheimer’s can benefit from our unique approach to dementia care.

Perhaps you would like to make a gift to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, but are concerned about your own future financial needs and those of your family. We appreciate your support and want to share with you opportunities that enable you to make a gift that returns benefits to you.

1.) You don't have to use cash to make your gift -- you can give appreciated securities that cost you less than the tax deduction you'll get for it today.

2.) You can make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime -- make the Alzheimer’s Resource Center a beneficiary of your will or your retirement plan and leave your current financial plan unchanged.

3.) You can make the Alzheimer’s Resource Center a partner in your giving -- you can deed the Alzheimer’s Resource Center your house but continue to live there, sell us property at a charitable discount, and get a lifetime of income.

4.) You may have assets that benefit the Alzheimer’s Resource Center more than they do you -- such as a life insurance policy that you no longer need or real estate like a second home.

These opportunities are called Planned Gifts and this website can help you learn more about them. Where to start? You're already started just reading this page! If you're ready to hear more, call us at 860-628-9000.
