Son's Support GroupThe Sons’ Group meets every other week on Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Alzheimer’s Resource Center. The group explores the complex issues of adult children caring for a parent with dementia. Sons and daughters both may have extraordinary demands on their time as they try to meet their own family’s needs and the needs of the parent with an incurable, degenerative disease. The group creates an open and supportive network of friends who share their feelings and hopes as they manage their care provider responsibilities. For more information about our support groups please contact Irena Delahunty at 860-628-3056 or email her at IDelahunty@arc-ct.org. |
