• The Suffield Emergency Aid Association will sponsor free Memory Screenings at the Amiel & Mary Anne Zak Ambulance Center, 143 Bridge Street.
• Professionals from the Alzheimer’s Resource Center of CT, Inc will be utilizing a comprehensive confidential approach to memory screenings and associated services. If the memory screening indicates possible memory concerns, consultation and recommendations for follow-up will be available.
• During the memory screening activities, the memory care specialists will also provide information and coaching services for families with relatives who already have a diagnosis of memory impairment.
• Memory screens are a simple and safe evaluation tool that checks memory and other thinking skills with the objective of timely detection and intervention for memory problems. The screen itself will last about 10-15 minutes.
• Space is limited to 12 participants for screening and 6 family consultations. Please register by calling The Suffield EAA at (860) 668-1986.
